Why We Exist
In rural Kenya, many women face limited opportunities for employment or skills training. Miriam Bella was created to change that. Not through charity, but through craftsmanship, community, and a chance to earn with dignity.
“I didn’t set out to start a fashion brand. I wanted to create opportunity — and show what’s possible when women are given the chance to thrive.”
Angela, Founder of Miriam Bella
At Miriam Bella, we believe beautiful shoes can empower beautiful change. We craft each pair with love, supporting talented artisans and building a brighter future for the Lelmokwo community.
Mission: To craft premium, handcrafted footwear that empowers the wearer while creating sustainable livelihoods for artisans in Africa.
Vision: To lead the ethical fashion industry by proving that beautiful design is a powerful catalyst for poverty alleviation and community growth.
