Collection: Women's Leather Jackets
Made by women artisans in our workshop in Kenya, in small batches, from A-grade goat leather that softens to your body the more you wear it.
The Aja. A cropped, tailored jacket that brings structure and quiet character to whatever you wear it over. The soft goat leather means it feels good from the first wear. The full sateen lining means it slips on easily and sits well all day — dressed up or down, it works.

What Makes A-Grade Goat Leather Different
THE MATERIAL BEHIND THE AJA
A-grade is the highest quality standard for goat leather hides. It means the leather has minimal natural imperfections, a consistently smooth surface and a uniform grain, rather than the scars and blemishes found in lower grades.
- Naturally supple. Softens and moulds to your body with wear, feeling more custom the longer you wear it.
- Lightweight, real strength. Superior tensile strength without the bulk of heavier leathers.
- Ages into character. Develops a unique patina instead of cracking, peeling, or looking tired.
- Built as an investment piece. With basic care, this is a jacket designed to last decades, not seasons.
ONE SILHOUETTE, THREE COLOURS. HERE'S HOW TO PICK
How to Choose Your Leather Jacket
1. Choose your colour
- Black: the most versatile, pairs with everything, easiest to wear from day to night.
- Cream: a softer neutral, stands out more than black without being a statement colour.
- Forrest Green: the most distinctive of the three, best if you want the jacket itself to be the focal point of the outfit.
2. Match the occasion
Work, meetings, layering over blazers or knitwear: Black
Weekend brunches, daytime events, outdoor markets: Cream
Date nights, evenings out, occasions you want to be remembered at: Forrest Green

Caring for Your Leather Jacket
TREAT IT LIKE THE INVESTMENT IT IS
Garment leather needs different care than leather shoes or bags. A few essentials:
- Routine dusting: wipe with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Skip abrasive cleaners entirely.
- Spot cleaning: for marks, use a cloth lightly dampened with cool water, then let it air dry fully.
- If it gets wet: hang it on a padded hanger to air dry at room temperature. Keep it away from radiators, blow dryers and direct sunlight, which can crack or shrink the leather.
- Conditioning: apply a leather conditioner made for garment leather (not boot leather) once or twice a year, or whenever the leather starts to feel dry.
- Storage: hang fully zipped on a wide, padded hanger to protect the shoulder and collar structure, ideally inside the provided dust bag, in a cool, dry place.
- Keep away from: heavy rain, extreme humidity, and direct contact with oils, perfumes or other chemicals.
Treated well, this jacket doesn't just last, it gets better with every year you wear it.
Everything You Need to Know
What is A-grade goat leather, and why does it cost more?
A-grade goat leather is the highest quality standard for hides, with minimal natural imperfections like scars or blemishes. It's naturally supple yet durable, with a lightweight feel and a smooth, consistent grain, and it ages beautifully rather than cracking or peeling.
How long will this jacket last?
This is designed as a lifetime piece, not a seasonal one. With basic care, A-grade goat leather doesn't just hold up, it improves with age, developing a patina unique to how you wear it.
Is this jacket suitable for wet weather?
No, this jacket should not get wet. Keep it away from rain and moisture. If it does get caught in wet weather, hang it on a padded hanger to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat or sunlight, and avoid wearing it again until fully dry.
How do I choose the right size?
The Aja fits true to size, so start with your usual size. The goat leather will soften and mould to your body with wear, giving it a custom feel over time.
